While the vast majority of our orders are filled within 24 - 72 hours, inventory levels do fluctuate daily and orders are subject to on-hand stock availability. You will be notified via email or phone about any backorder situation concerning your order that we anticipate will last longer than 5 business days. Backordered items will also be noted on your shipping invoice. Backordered items will be shipped separately upon availability at no additional shipment charge to you. - An item I'd like to purchase is marked "special order", what exactly does this mean?
A percentage of the bulkier/more expensive items are marked special order only. As soon as your order is placed for a special order item we will begin processing. The majority of our special order items are produced by an overseas (outside of the U.S) manufacturer. The item(s) will be shipped directly from the manufacturer. Our website shipment cost will reflect the air freight 7-14 day (once shipped) charge from the overseas manufacturer/distributor. All import duty taxes/VAT (value added tax) upon delivery are solely the customers responsibility.
